Syndicated loan
Syndicated loan is a form of loan business in which two or more lenders jointly provide loans for one or more borrowers on the same loan terms and with different duties and sign the same loan agreement. Usually, one bank is appointed as the agency bank to manage the loan business on behalf of the syndicate members.
Syndicated loans can be applied to a broad range of purposes, such as: General Working Capital, Capital Expenditure, Trade Finance, Property Development, Refinancing, Acquisition Finance, Project Finance, Export-credit Finance, Asset-backed Finance (including shipping finance, aircraft finance, etc.)
Syndicated loans are tailor-made to meet our customers’ financing needs. Typical types of syndicated facilities include:
- • Bridge Loan: usually 1 year
- • Medium Term Loan: 3 - 5 years
- • Long Term Loan: 5 years or above
- • Revolving Credit Facility: 1 - 5 years

Bilateral Loan
Bilateral loans are funds provided to a borrower by one lender, bilateral loan facilities may suit a range of needs including working capital requirements, refinancing of existing debt facilities and project financing.

Acquisition Finance
Acquisition finance is a short term facility provided to clients for the purpose of mergers or acquisitions of other businesses. CCB NZ is able to provide funding to facilitate the purchasing company enabling it to acquire controlling or partial interest in the selling company. CCB can provide a tailored financing package suit the transaction structure.
China Guarantee and Offshore Borrowing
Customers in Mainland with bank guarantee letter issued by CCB branches in Mainland can arrange for CCB NZ lending directly.
Customers do not need to go through overseas guarantee procedures.
International Trade Supply Chain Finance
CCB NZ offer international trade supply chain finance to support medium to large trading foreign companies. With an extensive network throughout Mainland, CCB branches in Mainland have the domestic core business ratings on Mainland companies. Foreign companies can be offered trade finance upon their Mainland trading partners’ business rating.
Commercial Property Finance
Commercial Property Finance is a short or medium term facility. With commercial property as security, CCB NZ is able to provide funding to facilitate the borrower to invest in existing commercial property in New Zealand.
Acceptable securities may include: office buildings, hotels, shopping centres in New Zealand major cities.
